Pray for Refugees: How Christians Are Observing the Fifth Anniversary of Syria's Civil War




Today marks the fifth anniversary of Syria’s civil war, which has caused almost 5 million Syrians to flee their homeland as refugees and displaced almost 7 million more.

Christian Religious groups including World Vision, World Relief, the International Mission Board, Operation Mobilization, and Lutheran World Relief (among others) have organized a special day of prayer for today, March 15, as part of a Lenten prayer campaign.

Supreme Court Weighs Why Abortion Clinics Are Closing At Record Rates:



The first abortion case to reach the US Supreme Court in nearly a decade stands to impact the fate of most clinics in Texas, and possibly clinics in states with similar restrictions that have led to years of record closure.

“The central purpose of the law in Texas and other states is to protect the health of women, and pro-lifers should see that as critical,” said Clarke Forsythe, senior counsel at Americans United for Life.
